Each necklace is made with satisfyingly weighty glass beads and handmade clay charms. Making them has really reignited a fire in my belly for gorgeous colourful glass beaded jewellery!

Hi! I'm Jess 🤠

I create playful and colourful earrings, mostly animal-inspired and all designed to bring a smile to your face. I drop new collections regularly - feel free to follow my socials to see what I'm making at the moment!

I design and handcraft each piece from my home studio in the UK. 🏡

While my main focus is earrings, my shop has grown over time to include not just jewellery, but also t-shirts, totes, knit scarves, enamel keychains, croc charms, prints, stickers, and more.

Do you ship to my country?

I ship from the UK to most countries! Due to the new GPSR legislation, I am currently unable to ship to the EU and Northern Ireland. More info on shipping can be found here.

Once something is in my basket, is it saved or can someone else still buy it?

No, sorry! Items are not reserved when they're in your basket. You must complete checkout to secure your order.

Do you do clip-ons?

Sure thing! Just tick the box on the listing (if applicable), leave a note at checkout or email me afterwards (jess@theclaydrop.co.uk) and I'll switch them for you.

Do you have an option for stretched ears?

Yes, I can change the findings to leverback hoops for you! These are much better for people with stretched earlobes as they won't fall out. Select the applicable option, leave me a message at checkout or email me after purchase (jess@theclaydrop.co.uk) and I'll make sure to change them for you.

Are your earrings heavy or lightweight?

They're super duper lightweight! Polymer clay is a very lightweight material and my earrings don't drag on the ears at all. A pair averages at about 6 grams. 

Is polymer clay fragile?

Due to its flexible properties, polymer clay is actually a very durable material and your earrings should last a very long time if cared for correctly! That being said, please do care for them well so they last you as long as possible!

I have sensitive ears. What metal do you use for your earrings?

I use hypoallergenic hooks and studs (either silver-plated, sterling silver or surgical/stainless steel). Exact metals are always detailed in the description of an item. If you have any questions, just email or drop me a message on Instagram and I'll be happy to help! 

If I order more than once in short succession, will you refund the extra shipping?

Yes! Just email me after ordering with your name/order numbers and I'll combine your orders for you and refund the extra shipping. Alternatively you can drop me a quick message and I'll give you a code for free shipping!

How fast is dispatch?

For ready-made items, dispatch is usually within 1-2 working days, but may be longer during busy periods (I.e. after a drop). Turnaround times may vary for preorder items - this will always be in the item description.

When is the next drop?

I try to have a drop every 1-2 months. The best way to find out when my next drop is is to check my instagram posts, my bio and my stories, and sign up to my mailing list as I send out reminders there too. If I have a drop date confirmed, it'll be there!

Can you do custom orders?

I'm more than happy to discuss tweaking existing jewellery designs for you if you'd like a different colour, for example. Feel free to contact me to chat more!
